The viewing will be held at Reflections Funeral Home, 128 Bonds Road Riverwood (corner with Skinner Avenue) at 4:30pm on Thursday 20th August 2020. The funeral service will be held at The Resurrection of Our Lord, Greek Orthodox Church 16-20 Belgrave Street, Kogarah, on Friday 21st August 2020 ...at 10:30am. The burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Leppington. Following the burial service, the wake will be held at the family home. 21.01.2022 On Saturday we had the honour of attending the dinner to commemorate the 154th Anniversary of the Holocaust of Arkadi. The Cretan Association of Sydney & NSW organised a well planned and respectful dinner. We had a very proud moment of watching our 3 kids perform traditional Cretan dances, with live music from the very talented group Iho Nyx Band, in front of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia as well as the Consul General of Greece to Sydney, Mr Christos Karras Consulate General of Greece, Sydney and our friends at Delphi Bank.

17.01.2022 Today we had the absolute honour of conducting the funeral service of the beautiful Barbara Owens. Her family chose to spend their last moments with Barbara at St Gabriel's Catholic Church in Bexley. Barbara's local parish she spent many years attending. The family spoke of many fond memories they had over the years. You can tell why Barbara was everyone's favourite Aunt. Reverend Yacub Barkat officiated the service. I am sure the family will take his advice and "never let the memory of Barbara die." Death only succeeds when we stop thinking about the loved ones we have lost. Always think of them. As long as we remember them, they will never die. Thank you Reverend Yacub.

At 50 years of age, the mother of 3 was called very early into God's care. May her family find the courage to move ahead and remember her always. Rest in Peace Anthoula.

It was a very emotional day for those that were present and for his family overseas in his beloved Cyprus, who managed to watch the live stream.
