09.01.2022 Congratulations to Hayden from Doreen, Hayden is the winner of the PROSKILL lucky door prize. www.proskill.com.au Despite the windy weather, we had over 5000 visitors attended the 42nd Victorian 4WD Show, 16th February, Lardner Park. Having just as many exhibitors in a more compact area proved very successful enabling the crowd to get around the show grounds quickly and visit the demonstration area and adventure circuit with ease. Visitor survey and online ticket sales winners will be announced in March. 02.01.2022 The Organising Team has reluctantly, but pragmatically, cancelled the February 2021 Show. Following severe increases in COVID-19 cases in July-August we’ve thought long and hard about how to conduct the Victorian 4WD Show in a COVID normal. The Coronavirus (COVID-19) roadmap for reopening Victoria toward COVID Normal was released by the Victorian Government on 6th September 2020, which provided guidance regarding business and event operations for the next 6 months. We have... considered the likely requirements and indeed difficulty to safely operate a major event of over 5,500 people. The health risk to exhibitor staff in confined spaces, the public and indeed our own volunteer Club members is unacceptable. The ability to comply with all the likely health requirement rules at such a large event is low. However, organisation and planning is underway for the Show on Sunday 20th February 2022 at Lardner Park. We will be maintaining contact with our valued exhibitors through this time. See more
