25.01.2022 The VAWS committee are excited to announce we will be running the Victorian Welsh Feature Show on Sunday March 7th 2021! Further details to come pending COM and government approval as soon as possible. Super program, medals, prizes and cash on offer! So start planning your show team and we will see you all there!

19.01.2022 Stewards play such an important role in the smooth running of our show! Once again we are looking for a few more people to help out across the three days. If you are able to steward for all or part of a day can you please get in contact with us.

16.01.2022 SHOW DAY INFORMATION Numbers and armbands can be collected on arrival. Numbers MUST be returned at the end of the day please. Classes will run in order as per the program:... Rings 3 8:45am start with LR/FR Open Ring 4 8:30am start with LR/FR Welsh Child's ridden will not start until Handler classes are complete. Rings 1 & 2 will start 9am with Led Welsh Harness classes will NOT run before 1pm (and when two rings available) ARC will run at completion of led and ridden classes. We are well aware that there are ponies entered in multiple classes and clashes are bound to happen, we will endeavor to assist on the day so no one misses a class. Any scratchings please text only 0429 989 608 with ponies name. Classes have been very well supported and we are looking forward to a great show. See you all Sunday!

15.01.2022 Good morning competitors! All entries have now been processed and finalised. If you have not received a confirmation email from the Entry Secretary can you please email [email protected] or call Peter on 0429989608. If you are paying by direct debit all payments MUST be in the bank by Friday or your entry will not be accepted.

11.01.2022 Planning is still underway for the 44th Victorian All Welsh Show 2020 December Friday 4th to Sunday 6th As a committee we have decided to push on with running the show, hopefully we can still give everyone something to look forward to this year! No doubt we are in an ever changing landscape and we will endeavour to keep everyone updated with potential changes as soon as we can. Please be aware we are at the mercy of any government regulations going forward and any protocols... being enforced during the running of the show will be adhered to. 10.01.2022 STABLES If any exhibitor has booked stables for the Thursday night at VAWS (6pm Thurs to 6pm Fri) and will no longer be attending or requiring them, please let Peter know immediately on 0429 989 608. If any exhibitor has booked a stable for a horse that is not being shown or one that was going to used as a tack locker this will not be allowed and will be checked. Thank you for your co-operation.

06.01.2022 The Strawberry Van will again be in attendance at the show, lots of delish food to choose from including: Pancakes, milk shakes, ice cream cones, strawberry & ice cream, ham & cheese toasties, tomato & cheese toasties, general sandwiches and egg & bacon sandwiches. Plus hot and cold drinks! Yum!

01.01.2022 ATTENTION When entering any of the shows and/or ARC classes currently available on www.vaws.com.au please use your WPCS membership number as the payment reference. Note the total amount due once entry is submitted then you will be redirected to the payment facility. Enter this full amount as per entry and use your membership number as the reference. (Repeating myself but it’s important) Please include the full amount, including the credit card charge. This is exactly what... we are charged from the bank, we are not collecting additional fees. If this simple action can not be followed we will unfortunately be forced to charge admin fees for incorrect entries or move to a more expensive payment option. Peter Hodgson has created this excellent entry platform for the members and is not paid for the enormous amount of time spent processing entries for multiple WPSC shows across Australia. All we ask is people read and follow the instructions as per the entry form. Thank you to all those that have completed their entries without fault this season and apologies for the rant!
