17.01.2022 At the pointy end for the Equestrian Victoria 2020 awards. There are many people involved but for YR Squad I would especially ask you to consider voting in the Coach of the Year category. Long time supporter and hands on in all aspects of both Victorian Dressage Young Rider Squads Official Members Only and the Victorian Youth Dressage Championships I would ask you to consider voting for one of the busiest coaches in Victoria, Bianca Veneziano. Bianca received multiple nominations in the Coach of the Year category, we now need to vote. All EV members are eligible to vote, and details can be found here. https://evarena.org.au/coach-of-the-year-finalists/

12.01.2022 Young riders, we need your help. I am sure you can find some time to volunteer at the upcoming The Victorian Dressage Festival. It will be great to be a part of an event that has been living in hope that they can run in spite of COVID. Lizzy Schirmer and her team have done a remarkable job, and the event has fantastic entries. Please consider supporting by volunteering.

03.01.2022 The 2021 updated version of the EA Dressage Rules will be available soon, but some interesting rule changes / clarifications have been circulated. FYI, read this one as it is an important addition to an already extensive 3.12.2 3.12.2 Riding in competition, warm-up, and exercise areas i) A maximum duration of pre-competition warm-up of one hour is the standard; riders require permission from the Chief Steward (which will be granted only in exceptional circumstances) to extend a training session beyond one hour. The training session must include relaxation periods. It does not include walking on a loose rein, to or from stables, or for exercise prior to or post warmup. Riders are also reminded that post- test repetition of movements may not exceed 10 minutes
