25.01.2022 This clever little cookie is Liesel. As slender as a supermodel and smart as a scholar Liesel is looking for that perfect match that will shower her with adoration but still be able to keep up with her quick wit. Being the brainiac that she is, Liesel gets bored quickly and even though she is great at finding things to occupy herself, training and learning is her passion. If you have the time and experience to help this lovely dog reach her full potential then follow the li...nk to express your interest in adopting! animalaid.org.au/sale-adoption-eoi/

Unfortunately she has been with us for a little while as it takes her a bit of time to become confident with new people. We would like to go to a quite home and no small kids. Her new family would need to come to meet her a couple of times to build a bond. She is very fussy but the right family will have a lovely girl to join their family. Source Number: BR101062

23.01.2022 This fluffy face belongs to Fern and she's just 18 months old. This super sweet girl has been with one of our foster carers and they just loved having her. Fern will smooch around your legs and even roll over for a belly rub too. While on foster she met a bunny and a friendly dog without any issues so possibly a furry friend would be nice. To meet Fern please call (03) 9739-0300, and make an appointment (please do not email). Fern won't last long at all, so call before she's ...snapped up! 23.01.2022 Meet Jett, he is an absolute sweetheart. His favourite past time is playing fetch and could do so for hours. Jett would love to go out and about with you in your daily travels and at the end of each day would happily snuggle up with you on the couch. Jett would prefer to be the only dog in the household as he likes to keep his favorite things (people and toys!) for himself. We are taking Expressions of interest for Jett, so please complete the form below and we will respond... to you shortly. https://animalaid.org.au/bairnsdale-adoption-eoi/ Microchip: 956000009589565 Source Number: BR101062

21.01.2022 Lets share the love for this old man. This is Presti - he is one of Animal Aid's palliative foster dogs. Presti is 11.5 yrs old and so sweet, confident and playful. He loves pats, making a mess with his toys and being around people. He has a number or lumps and bumps and very bad hips which slow him down...But one of our awesome staff members has decided to take Presti into her home and heart to ensure the rest of his days are filled with love. ... Presti now spends the workday hanging out in the office with with his new human and enjoying Animal Aid's open spaces. He spends his evenings cuddled on the couch watching the telly. His pretty brown eyes melt our hearts!

20.01.2022 Introducing the spirited Miss Pickles! This quirky lady certainly does not know her age and would spend all day playing and romping with us in the yard if she could. Pickles is quite the conversationalist and is not shy about voicing her opinion, however she also enjoys a good massage and some quiet time in front of the TV. We would love to see Pickles in a mature home where she can be the centre of attention and a big part of her new familys everyday life - prefering not ...to be left at home by herself for long periods of the day. 19.01.2022 Ok folks, Let me introduce myself, I'm Bronx. I've lived a pretty rough life up until now. I used to run with a pretty rough crowd - you see, I haven't had an owner for a long time, so life on the streets is all I really remember. I got on a few fights during this time and the vets at Animal Aid have discovered I have a thing called FIV. ... Now, I don't know what FIV is...but to tell you the truth I've never felt better in my life! Here I get a comfy bed, regular meals and lots of pats (which I secretly really enjoy). The girls here tell me I need to live and indoor only life due to the fact that I'm a white cat apparently the sun can cause damage to my nose and ears I'm very comfortable with this idea cause I just want to find a home I can call my own. I spent some time out in a foster home and boy oh boy did I LOVE it there! So far not a single person has made any appointments to meet me. I am so looking forward to finding my new home. I will make my new owner the centre of my world. I'm cleaning myself up everyday (I was very rough looking when I first arrived). As nice as it is here when the Animal Aid staff go home I'm very lonely. So please, come meet me or if you can't adopt me could you please share my profile. Bronx's Stats Age: 6 years & 1 months & 0 weeks. Sex: Male Breed: Domestic Medium Hair Location: Coldstream Microchip: 956000011404923 BR101062

15.01.2022 Gorgeous Kitt has come into our care and at 11 years old this is just not where he wants to be. Kitt came to us as a chipped stray, this boy used to be a loved member of someone's family, but sadly they didn't want to reclaim him. Kitt is super sweet and will need a very quiet home with no kids. At his age he's searching for a place where he can feel safe and be allowed to explore at his own pace. He does have some dietary requirements to help support his kidney function and... keep him feeling fit and healthy. Can you offer Kitt some security? If so please give our cattery team a call (please do not email) and discuss a time to come in and meet him - adoptions are being done strictly by appointment only. 15.01.2022 Benjamin is as cute as a button. This little rabbit is always on the go and will need lots of toys and stimulation to keep him entertained, he cannot be left in a hutch in the backyard on his own. He craves attention and after a day of flat out playing he will happily snuggle on your lap for a cuddle. We are sure with the right bonding process this young man would love to have a bunny wife to spend his days with. 11.01.2022 Animal Aid in East Gippsland has just received a much needed donation of a new industrial washing machine thanks to the fundraising efforts of Mel Newcomen - Senior Speech Pathologist at Think Play Thrive Speech Pathology. Back in July, as Victoria was in the grip of the start of the second wave of COVID 19, Mel got busy sewing hundreds of 3 layer quality masks and sold them all raising just over $4000. Thank you so much Mel for taking the initiative and putting together such... a fruitful fundraiser! We would also like to thank the Better Electrical team in Lakes Entrance for supporting us with a very generous discount. Lastly we would like to recognise the East Gippsland community for getting behind this project and showing your support for Animal Aid's mission. I was able to use my sewing skills to raise money for a very important animal welfare service in our town. I am an animal lover and my very special kelpie-cross Sam (pictured) came from Animal Aid, so we are delighted to be able to give something back. Sam has been a loyal, calm and special friend to me my family and some of my speech pathology clients over the years - Mel Newcomen

10.01.2022 Our Gippsland Shelters are running low on canned cat and kitten food, please consider purchasing a few cans for the many beautiful cats we have waiting to be adopted. If you do not like purchasing online we would love for you to donate directly to our shelters or op shops. We don’t want to sound fussy but some of the cats certainly are, so we would really appreciate Whiskas Kitten Loaf Varieties in non fish flavours.

08.01.2022 Happy face Marty has a home! 'We just wanted to send a couple of pics and a video to let you know that he has settled in beautifully. He walks between us and walks at our pace. Matt has taught him to sit and he is toileting outside and sleeping all night. His tail wags crazily when he wakes up and comes in and sees that we are awake. He is just beautiful. Thank you again'
