25.01.2022 Vitali and Wlad Klitschko. These guys dominated the heavyweight division for more than a decade but they don’t get the same props and respect as guys like Lenn...ox Lewis and Evander Holyfield and Iron Mike Tyson or Muhammad Ali or Joe Frazier or George Foreman. Truth is, this is because there was two of them and neither were ever fully undisputed heavyweight boxing champions and this was as a direct result of the other brother. Yes. Because there were two of them and they were the two best and they never fought one another that is definitely the precise reason they don’t get their just due credit. Think on it; Tyson fought Holyfield. Holyfield fought Lewis. Tyson fought Lewis. Joe Frazier fought Muhammad Ali and George Foreman fought both as well. All the top number one and two and three heavyweights fought each other. Because these men shared the same blood as brothers and because they promised their mother they would never fight, obviously the fight never happened. Respect to these legends. Nobody made me box like Sonny Liston did and that happened every time we worked together. He taught me many things, including the importance of the jab. I just couldn’t get mine straight and every day he had me working on it. There were times when he could have knocked my head off but he didn’t because we were pretty good friends. I was one who never ...did anything like that and I shifted more tickets than anyone. If you remain down-to-earth, humble, respectful and do it with a twinkle in your eye, some wit, some charity work, I think that's what the public prefer to see. 17.01.2022 As restrictions have eased we are looking at event on Saturday December 12th in Lilydale. We have quite a few boxers entered already and seeking match ups. If we can get the right matches we will also look at hosting some Victorian title bouts.
