25.01.2022 SHOW US YOUR BEST CHRISTMAS HORSE! As we close out a year that's been challenging for many, in lots of different ways, we'd like to see a little festive cheer on our timeline! Post your best Christmas themed horse pic in the comments below - there might even be a sneaky prize for the best dressed equine Get creative over the weekend and the winner will be announced next week (after careful consideration by our panel of experienced judges of course).... Here's a super cute example to get the ideas flowing - let's see what you've got!

24.01.2022 VICTORIAN EQUINE GROUP CAPS Our new range of caps has just landed, and are now available for purchase from reception for $20 each. They are a trucker style (mesh on the back), and available in black, navy blue, hot pink and chocolate brown - the latter three as seen on our lovely models below ... All profits from the caps go to the Starlight Children’s Foundation, so you can look cool and do good at the same time Come and grab one from reception, or give us a call and we can also organise postage at an additional cost. Limited stocks only, grab them while they’re hot!

21.01.2022 AND THE WINNER IS... Well it was a very hot contest but after much deliberation, we couldn't go past Ellie, the micro therapy donkey in her best Christmas dress! Congratulations to Kristy Kemp of Flash Farm - your prize will be winging its way to your very shortly!... Please take a second to have a read of our Christmas/New Years season opening hours for 2020/21:... 21st-23rd December: Open 24th December: Closed Christmas Eve 25th December: Closed Christmas Day 26th & 27th December: Closed (weekend) 28th December: Closed Boxing Day Public Holiday 29th December: Open 30th December: Open 31st December: Closed New Year's Eve 1st January 2021: Closed New Years Day 2nd & 3rd January: Closed (weekend) 4th January: Normal hours resume As always, we will have a vet on call to assist in any emergencies throughout this period. . As usual, we ask that you allow at least 24hrs between making the request and picking up the medication - this allows our vets time to approve and dispense the medications around their busy schedules. Dr Zoe (pictured here monitoring a foal as it recovers from surgery) will be joining us for the next 12 months, after graduating from Melbourne University late last year. ... Like all of our interns, she has quickly become involved in all aspects of working in the hospital, and we appreciate having another fresh face (and pair of hands!) about the place.
