22.01.2022 URGENT NOTICE: Cancellation of Kyu Grading on 15th March Dear all, Due to health and safety issues, a few key stakeholders have to excuse themselves from the grading scheduled for tomorrow. ... It is not sensible for us to postpone this event due to uncertainties and factors out of our control. We will update you regarding the other gradings scheduled for March as soon as a decision is made. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience. If you have any concerns, please do contact me on [email protected]. Your concerns will be heard. Yours sincerely, Cyntheia Lim President Victorian Kendo Renmei

19.01.2022 As the year's activities ramp down, the VKR would like to thank all instructors and volunteers for helping the year ran smoothly! For those of us who are training over the next few days and over summer break, have fun, and take care of yourselves especially in extreme heat situations. Our recommendation is to follow VicSport recommendation of 36 degrees Celsius being the upper threshold. And make sure you take responsibility for yourself by hydrating before, during and after ...trainings. There are also a bunch of resources for Hot Weather safety on VicSport website for individual preparation and signs and symptoms of heat illnesses at VicSport.com.au/hot-weather-resources Have fun and have a safe and excellent break!
