22.01.2022 Gold Depth is always relative to Ground Noise Jonathan Porter discusses the finer details of discovering gold in all shapes and sizes: "Unless you’re using a de...tector that has the ability to mask out or remove the bulk of ground noise you could very easily leave a very large nugget undiscovered, even at moderate or shallow depths." 18.01.2022 Some pretty amazing pictures of the original (Not a copy) Hand Of Faith 876oz nugget found by Kevin Hillier using a metal detector near Kingower on 26 September 1980
15.01.2022 While your camping out in the Golden Triangle, this will be a welcome addition to the caravan on a hot summers night!
14.01.2022 Prospector finds a nice nugget in this video. The ground it's deposited in doesn't look so enticing, almost like dark chocolate top soil however there are some gravels mixed in. Gold is where you find it.
11.01.2022 The forecast for the Seekers Christmas party tomorrow is going to be perfect! Sunny and a pleasant top of 24 degrees which is going to be ideal for the outdoor event. Hope to see you all there!

02.01.2022 20 CENTS COULD BE WORTH $800 THIS CHRISTMAS! Due to popular demand, we are again posting up the famous 1966 wavy baseline 20 cents. In 1966 the mint produced 58.2 million twenty cent coins. What was not known at the time was that a number of these coins had a very unique design fault, the now famous (and valuable) wavy baseline.... If you happen to find one of these little beauties, it could be worth big money as these coins are currently selling for between $350 and $800 EACH on eBay, and only getting more valuable each year. The way to identify a wavy baseline 20 cents is it first has to have been minted in 1966, then look at the bottom section of the number 2 stamped on the side of the coin displaying the platypus. On a normal coin, the top and bottom edges of the baseline are straight, while on a wavy baseline coin, the upper edge has a distinctive wave to it. Now that you’ve found one, it’s best to take it to a reputable coin dealer and have it graded. Grading will give you and buyers a clear value of your coin. So next time you're out detecting and go to discriminate out those 20's, think again, one could very well make your Christmas this year. Good luck!
01.01.2022 On behalf of the committee, The Victorian Seekers Club wishes you all a wonderful Christmas full of love, joy and cheer, and may these wishes last for you throughout the whole New Year!
