16.01.2022 Our first camp was held on the weekend. As well as regular camp activities, they also took the flying fox across the lake at Kindilan. I visited them on Saturday and they were having a great time. All Units from Bulimba to Victoria Point are ready to welcome new members, both Youth and Adult.

16.01.2022 Term 2 has officially finished, and our Guides are now on holidays. The biggest excitement for them, and their leaders, is that with COVID-19 Stage 3 easing of restrictions occurring during the holidays, we are on target to meet face to face once again at the start of next term! Many of our leaders have gone above and beyond all expectations, including their own, to bring Flexible Guiding to our/your girls. Women who had never heard of Zoom, let alone knew what do do with it, have challenged themselves and come to this point being able to say that they succeeded. BRAVO!!

12.01.2022 This is lovely weather to go camping, or just brushing up on our camp skills: cooking over an open fire, putting tents up and making camp gadgets.

05.01.2022 Gosh, it is holidays already! Our leaders are using this time for a little R&R, before helping our Guides make Term 4 the term to remember - for all the right reasons!

05.01.2022 Girl Guides in Moreton Region are looking forward to returning to face to face meetings as soon as the Queensland Government announces Stage 3 of the CoVID 19 easing restrictions plan. So if you and your daughter preferred to wait until meetings were back to normal, keep an eye on this space.
