18.01.2022 In positive anticipation of the Victorian Government releasing further restrictions on the 23rd November,, we've booked the 28th (Saturday) for a yard trial at Lancefield. BYO chair / BYO sanitiser / BYO mask The events will Open / Encourage / Maiden-Novice. We'll know more tomorrow and if all goes well we will release the entry form. 11.01.2022 Charlie with kelpie Eli at the Lancefield yard dog trial. Eli was not too keen on 'backing ' the sheep and lost a few points there. However overall he did a good job moving the sheep.

05.01.2022 Dave sharp with his collie in the novice trial. The collie did a great job but unfortunately the sheep charged straight through the dog in the draft which is quite unusual.Dave ended up with a bruised finger but it could have been worse. For those not familiar with trialling the judge will nominate what the draft is going to be. In this case the first 2 and the last 3 which was executed beautifully. Listen to the way Dave controls his dog with a whistle. Dave would have to be one of the best controlers of the whistle I have ever seen.

03.01.2022 Lancefield yards have been set up ready for tomorrow. Thanks to those that gave their time to set it up. We would appreciate help in dismantling the yards at the end of the trial. Many hands make light work.
