17.01.2022 Hey everyone Just checking in to see that everyone is doing ok and staying safe and well? Hopefully you are all getting in some form of exercise during this time ... I've still been getting out for a few Solo rides per week, dusted off the weights and pumping iron and a few hill repeats here and there, hoping to come out of this downtime even fitter than before Can't wait till the day we get to line up at the start and head of on our 5km of trail goodness.. Take care everyone... Jody - Event Director

15.01.2022 Please take note for this weekend

14.01.2022 Such a great initiative to keep you going with your running/walking or to get you back into it in readiness for whenever we kick off again

10.01.2022 Just a reminder that Victory Heights Trail parkrun won't be re-launching this coming Saturday. But hang tight as it wont be far away and we'll keep you up to date as we know more Once we do start up again, you will see the following QR Code at the entrance to the trails, at the starting area, the finish line and it can also be found on the web site, this is for you to check in on the day for tracing purposes, its a straight forward process and simple to do

08.01.2022 Yesterday we spent 2 hot and sweaty hours on the trails fixing up all the rollers that needed attention to bring the course back up to scratch Thankyou so much to Aodhan, Damien, Daniel, Chris, Rin, Suzanne for their awesome effort, it will be very appreciated by all parkrunners So we now will be officially re-launching on the 16 January 2021 which is very exciting after a 10 month hiatus ... More updates will follow in the weeks to come but for now, have a Safe and Merry Christmas

07.01.2022 Please take note everyone and do not use the trails

06.01.2022 This is the news we have all been waiting for.... As exciting as it is that parkrun is returning to QLD, please bear with us as we await further information from HQ as to how this is going to look and it could be possible that "we" may not re-start on that exact day as it will depend on a couple factors in regards to Volunteering We will share updates with you as we get more information. Hang in there parkrunners, we will see your smiley faces again soon. ... Jody

06.01.2022 Well the rain we needed to moisten the ground for the trail repairs finally came through the week and will allow us to get the course up to spec and ready to restart in 2021 The pics show a couple parts of the trail I worked on today and how all these rollers are meant to look once they are re-packed with dirt Hopefully after this Sunday we can announce the re-launch date for January 2021 ... Stay tuned Jody Event Director

06.01.2022 Good evening/morning everyone :-D A fantastic return to alot of parkruns last Saturday with some great feedback on the new framework which is great news. After a meeting last week with Andrew from Cooloola Trail Care Alliance and the importance of getting the course back up to spec before our return, we have come to a decision to delay the return until January 2021 and we can start the year off on the Right(or Left foot) ;-)... Most of the requirements on our re-launch checklist have all been ticked off but we do require some rain to be able to do the trail work needed before we re-start :-D It will be worth the wait and it will also will be a fantastic way to start 2021, lets all just pray for some rain between now and then :-) As soon as get the required works completed on the trail, we will announce a date to kick off again so please stay tuned to this page.. Kind Regards Jody Fischer Event Director

02.01.2022 Please take note of Trail Closure tomorrow
