01.01.2022 THROWBACK TIME! Back to the days of Film School and working on set of some creative projects including the feature film The Legend of Ben Hall At first I wanted to be the director, the one who gets all the credit for the film, but after having to let someone else take the reins of the camera at film school while I directed it just didn’t feel right. I loved taking control of the camera and creating amazing visual stories through the images I created. That’s where my love... of Cinematography came from. Lighting, Composition, Movement, the lot! I couldn’t get enough. I became obsessed, I took my study further into the cinematography realm and studied books, DVD’s and what ever YouTube videos I could find at the time (it was still early days). I needed to know all their was to cinematography and making great video! After film school I took a few years working on other creative projects and even did some time in the news until I am where I am now, Vid.co. Creative filmmaking was where I started. Bringing together a story shot by shot and making something as a team is an incredible feeling. This is where Vid.co gets its Cinematic look from. Years of making real cinema has paid off to create some amazing looking videos for our clients. To tell your businesses story in a cinematic and appealing fashion is the greatest gift I could of been given. I believe that everyone’s story and unique and it needs to be told and told properly. Thanks to all that have given me that gift, and to those that wish to have their story told through cinematic video, I’m only one message away!
