25.01.2022 Recently we had the pleasure of assisting the Fred Hollows Foundation with all the audio visual production services, such as themed & performance lighting, sound & performance audio and screens for the event celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Foundation with a Photo Exhibition on The Green at Parliament House.

24.01.2022 Yesterday we had a major rain event in Brisbane and the creek in the picture was absolutely full of water and we believe this saved us from potentially being flooded. In times gone by we at VideoData have been flooded in major rain events but thanks to the Brisbane City Council and their development of the Coorparoo Creek Park and reinstatement of part of the old Coorparoo Creek VideoData was high and dry and at no risk of flooding at all yesterday. We were very thankful to be entering dry premises this morning and feel for all those people who this morning were starting a clean up after flash flooding or worse. We have been there and can sympathise and also feel for those people who are still being affected by flood waters coming down the rivers and waterways today.

23.01.2022 VideoData was very pleased to be a sponsor and be part of the Drought Relief Fund Raising event held on the green at Parliament House last night. The evening went very well and raised much needed funds for those people doing it tough on the land as this drought continues relentlessly.

20.01.2022 Recently we once again had the pleasure of working in one of Brisbane's hidden treasures, the beautiful old stone Chapel at the Anglican Theological College in Milton. Hidden on the hill behind the iconic brewery, the chapel has a lovely setting amongst the trees.

15.01.2022 VideoData at Parliament House - Another successful event.

14.01.2022 It was with great sadness that we at VideoData received the news of Carol Lloyd's passing. Carol was a performer, a colleague and a friend and she will be greatly missed. Carol along with having a great voice, was filled with great ideas and inspired so many people around her. She was a lady with a big heart who wanted to just keep on working and giving to an industry she loved so much. Carol's life time of paving a way for women in the music industry was rewarded with The Carol Lloyd Award for an emerging Queensland female singer-songwriter announced at the recent benefit concert held at QPAC to assist Carol who her medical expenses incurred due to her lengthy battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Carol was taken from us far too young but she suffers no more and may she now rest in peace.

14.01.2022 VideoData is pleased to be involved with the Asian Cup providing audio visual equipment for hospitality events being held within Suncorp Stadium.

14.01.2022 We at VideoData were saddened by the news of the passing of Jon English. It was only just a few weeks ago that we were involved with an event at the Queensland Cricketers Club where Jon English was performing. Jon was an Australian Rock Legend whose talents extended to performing on stage, acting in a TV sitcom as well as having a very successful solo singing career. Jon's passing will be mourned by fans Australia wide. We would like to extend our condolences to his family on their sudden tragic loss.

13.01.2022 VideoData is always happy to get involved with multi-cultural events and this was the case recently when the Premier hosted an event for Chinese New Year. Here come the Dragons!

11.01.2022 It was once again our pleasure to be part of the success of the Greenslopes Private Hospital Anzac Day Dawn Service. We have now been involved with this event for 20+ years and it has grown a lot over those years. This is now an outdoor event which involves sound and vision to service around 1500 attendees. This entails two large projection screens with live to screen pictures, microphones at the lecturn for speeches and microphones for the 30 singers who form the Somerville House Choir and their pianist. Dame Quentin Bryce is a regular attendee as a Patron of the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation along with staff from the Greenslopes Private Hospital. We were proud to be involved with this event to acknowledge the ANZAC's and help carry on the tradition of the ANZAC Day Dawn Service.

10.01.2022 VideoData gave themselves an early Christmas present.

09.01.2022 While there was threat of a storm, the weather held off and Chinese New Year held on the Green at Parliament House last week was a great success.

06.01.2022 The occupants at the Holdsworth Commerce Centre were thrilled when the Council finally finished all the roadworks associated with the Coorparoo Creek Park Project and returned our street and our driveways to us. Finally no more diggers, no more trucks and life returned to normal in the centre but it was short lived as once again we have diggers and trucks and one of our driveways closed. It really has only been a matter of months and they are digging up the new cement in the driveway and the new bitumen on the road for sewerage works for the Coorparoo Square development going up just up on the next corner. What a shame they could not have coordinated to do the work when the street was dug not that long ago.

06.01.2022 While we all wait with great apprehension, the outcome of the recent state election,we at VideoData reflect on being involved with the Labour Party launch at the Ipswich Civic Centre.

02.01.2022 We are not scientists but it was fun being involved with science week recently held at Southbank. We had to get up at some unreasonable hour of the morning to ensure we had the extensive av system in place for 600 students attending the schools event sponsored by the Brisbane City Council at the Suncorp Piazza. The kids all seemed to have a lot of fun with the activities they were involved in. Oh to be a kid again!
