23.01.2022 This Tesla battery totally powers our film production business 24/7 here at VideoSpark. Our residential and business premises are 100% solar powered and we have... zero need for grid power. In fact we export our surplus solar electricity to the grid. All of our film production cameras, lighting sound gear, field batteries, edit suite, file servers and comms gear is powered from solar via this Tesla battery. I recon we are the only film production business on the coast that’s totally grid free.

12.01.2022 The NZ screen industry has now released its COVID-19 work standards and protocol. A consortium of Australian Screen industry organisations headed up by AFTRS is developing protocols for this country and they have now submitted a draft to the Cheif Medical Officer for review and comment. In the meantime these two NZ documents read and utilised together are probably close to those that will apply in Australia: NZ ScreenSafe Health & Safety COVID 19 Endorsed- Standard https://...screenguild.co.nz//ScreenSafe%20COVID-19%20Standar NZ ScreenSafe Health & Safety COVID 19 Endorsed Protocols https://screenguild.co.nz//ScreenSafe%20COVID-19%20Protoco I would be happy to discuss safe working COVID-19 protocols with any clients and potential clients.

07.01.2022 It's been pretty slow going with my filmmaking business in the shutdown, I tried to get some socially distancing collaborative creative filmmaking things going ...but no takers. So when actress and comedy writer Lisa Bluthal approached me to make a fun little socially distanced produced backyard musical comedy skit in Umina, I said "why not?" This is it! - The Killer Queen Corona wants to dominate the worldbut does she? Lyrics, vocals and performance - Lisa Bluthal, Music score -Allan McFadden, Green screen camera - Bob Fitzgerald and Bryan Hall, editor-Bob Fitzgerald, Script supervisor, playback and 1st AD-Tina A Wake, clapper board Archer Wake, and Roughly-the dog. Music track was recorded at The Grove Studios, Somersby. See more

02.01.2022 One of our current film projects is a documentary titled "The Wonders Of The Wreck", a story about the marine life that has developed on the wreck of the HMAS Adelaide II, sunk off the Central Coast. We had a pod of dolphins escort us out to the wreck yesterday. The wreck has turned into a fabulous marine garden of stunning orange, red, blue and violet soft corals, ascidians kelp beds, and countless species of very friendly fish life. The film will be out in the new year and I'll tell you more soon.
