17.01.2022 20 th July 1969 original recording being played into a modern day tv. The composite video is sent from the recently restored Shibaden (Hitachi) VTR that I spent hours on. The tape is 50 years old and plays ok in some parts but lots of drop outs in most places . Still watchable. Amazing it goes with such an iconic recording.
16.01.2022 Having fun repairing this 1960s Astor television (still looking for the original legs and name badge). It was likely made in South Melbourne or Clayton, Victoria, Australia. I'm always keen for more information on Australian television models, especially from those who might have been involved in the original build.
