21.01.2022 2020 has been one hell of a year am I right? ..... It’s been a year of extreme lows for many, and beautiful, massive change for others. For most of us it’s been both. ..... Personally it’s been a year that I will be grateful for, for many reasons. If I could sum it up in one thought, it would be that 2020 has helped me understand my priorities in life and the things that make me happy have been crystalised and brought more sharply into focus. ... ...... Professionally it’s been a great year and a year of real creativity - I’ve got to work on so much beautiful music with my beautiful family of clients and artists. My team of Jess Dos Anjos, David Richards, Ritchie Jay and Dan Romeo have been by my side working towards a huge year in 2021. We celebrated our 10th birthday, released our first ever t-shirts, received our second ARIA nomination for @thevegetableplot, released our first podcast #kickasschicks, made more collaborative remote recordings which have been challenging and enormously fun. We’ve been truly blessed to keep making music during a time that many around the world have lost their jobs, or more tragically their loved ones, and I will forever be grateful for all of the things I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy. ..... So here’s to 2020 - a year of unprecedented change, growth, challenges, awareness, family, community, and time out from the hustle and bustle.
