22.01.2022 Habits, I’m sure many of us have them- good & not so good. One of my own habits is wanting something sweet straight after eating a meal. Comfort eating The Habit Loop is a great guide. Here is how a habit forms: ... First there is a cue, a trigger that tells your brain to go into automatic mode and which habit to use. Then there is the routine/ craving which can be physical, mental or emotional & then we respond to that craving . Finally, there is a reward, which helps your brain figure out if this particular loop is worth remembering for the future. Over time, this loop, becomes more and more automatic.
