You can also perform a mobility workout whenever you please. 10-15 minutes targeting a selected joint or muscle group everyday is a good way to alleviate any stiffness. - What are mobility exercises? - Using the tools shown in the picture, applied to a joint or muscle group, under the required pressure can help release stiffness. One method is rolling out muscles or self soft tissue massage with a foam roller. Loading up muscles with weight or resistance is another method. 25.01.2022 WHAT A YEAR! I just want to thank everyone for their support throughout 2018. Its been an up and down year but a massive learning phase in the end. 25.01.2022 TRANSFORMATION This is @corbin_reeves he's been a client of mine for the past 7 weeks. In that time he has gone from 126kg to 110kg. Not to mention he has increased his major compound movements by at least 20%. Before Corbin came to me he had never squatted over 110kg, never benched over 80kg and never done a deadlift ever. These results come down to purely him giving me 100% through diet and training and trusting my methods. Without him following the diet and program thes...e results would not be possible. To being blown off the park in overtime because of being so emotionally attached to that moment. -... - Champions don't dwell on moments like that, they take control and reset their mind because they know there's still a job to do. - - Don't get me wrong both teams played well. 21.01.2022 Using KETO to Lower Total Calories! Trying to cut down on some fat? And wanting to do it fast? Everybody has been in this situation before i bet! Cutting out your Carbs can be a simple and effective way to reduce your calories. They make up the bulk of most diets and can cause you to be in a calorie surplus if you do not use them as fuel throughout the day.... In order to lose fat, in most cases your going to need to be in a calorie deficit. So by taking out the bulk of your carb sources and just utilizing Protien, Fat and Fibre is really productive. Of course your going to have to increase your Fat% quite substantially! This method will get you results fast, although i don't believe in using this type of diet for long periods of time. Depending on your physical activity and goals this may not be an option at all. - I like to use this type of diet as a cleansing phase to help reduce inflamation in the digestive system and body as a whole. A 2 week period of very little carbs can reset the system and hormones allowing the body to be able to absorb the foods required to now build muscle. You could class this as a "detox" but I'm not using the typical juice bullshit approach! - - - #keto #waroncarbs #cleanse

18.01.2022 Lets talk about consistency. This may be the number one reason your not getting results. In anything, that requires time and commitment to achieve the goal, consistency is the number one aspect where people fail. If you cant get the job done day after day and stick to the plan then your going to go nowhere and going nowhere is going backwards. In the fitness/athlete game being consistent with training and diet is a must. You cant do two days of good solid training and diet...ing then go have a break or a cheat meal. You only deserve a break once youve hit your targets, whether that is a goal weight, a number of days training in a row or a number of weeks on a strict program. People tend to quit so easily. If your not willing to put in a little effort and be honest with yourself then dont expect results. Be consistent in everything that you do!

07.01.2022 Progression This is Jakob, hes been training with VPC for roughly 6 weeks. His strength and muscularity have increased dramatically in this time. Before he started this strength cycle he could barely deadlift 100kg now he can perform 140kg (displayed in the video). Not to mention he has gained 2.5kg in this time. Im very excited to see what Jakob can achieve over the next month or so as we go into a hypertrophy phase. The Deadlift... Lets talk a little bit about the deadlift. Easily one of the best exercises for overall strength and muscle development, if not the best. Performing the exercise correctly is where everyone falls apart and the consequences can be quite severe. So lets talk about form and the correct set-up to performing a conventional deadlift. Set-Up Feet are generally going to be shoulder width apart for a general rule but comfort needs to be at the forefront. Feet in closer or further apart, does not necessarily make a difference. The bar should be positioned mid foot, so not too far away from the body but not up against your shins. Hand positioning is ideal outside your stance width. Elbows locked and shoulders internally rotated to create tension on the bar. Back is to be straight and your hips need to be below your shoulders so that you are in a good position to pull from the ground. Head in a neutral position, which will help the position of the back also. Execution Once you have tension on the bar and your hips are in a powerful but comfortable position to pull from, you will engage the lift by trying to press your feet through the floor. Maintain a straight back through the entire motion and pull the hips through at the top locking the knees out at the very end.
