08.01.2022 Out this morning on glassy water for another fun session. Although the first fish was in my lap within 15 minutes, it was a bit of a grind. A few missed hits, s...ome rough battles in the sticks and some great acrobatics. One fish had me bricked for a couple of minutes before I managed to coax it back out. Another fish hit the lure as it left the water beside the kayak and gave me a good fright - unfortunately this one didn't hook up. I also spotted a tree snake crossing the creek while I chatted on a video call with my son at home. Happy Rock Softies Grub and Mini Willy coming up with some nice fish. 01.01.2022 First session in over a month. Was hoping for Jacks but managed a couple of winter Barra instead, three to be exact. Missed another.
