25.01.2022 So.... I need to make a tool to help me with grinding neat fullers down blades, the solution? My mind and a bit of ingenuity stay tuned

23.01.2022 All finished! Looks alright from my angle hahaha

22.01.2022 Bit of a kinda don’t want to do anything tonight/to early to go to bed moods so I thought I would knock this up. Combo drinks/smokes holder for the camp tables. Came out pretty nice and I can’t wait to try it out

22.01.2022 Morning folks! Just a heads up that if you would like something made there are a couple of things that I would like to make you aware of. A; I am working by myself so it takes a while for me to get through and may take some time to get to your order B; I can offer payment plans for your items. Times are hard but work must continue, everyone who has ordered something is written down ( I think haha) so if I’ve forgotten something please let me know If I can ask for your patien...ce on things ordered it would mean the world to me, my fiancé is just about due with our son being born as early as this weekend so I’m trying to smash out as many jobs as I can between hospital visits. I hope everyone is keeping well and like I said please by all means don’t hesitate to order something and set up a payment plan. Thank you everyone See more

20.01.2022 Just a quick little side project on today, I made a stake table for when you’re camping and you can’t find even ground you simply screw in the legs and hammer the spikes into the ground next to your chair making a nice solid table . If anyone would like one made let me know, I’m selling them for $40 each . Thanks folks

20.01.2022 So as it turns out.....my hydrogen generator prototype is pumping out a metric TONNE of hydrogen!!!! Note to self, don’t doubt your work!!! Lol and don’t hold a flame at the end of the pipe

19.01.2022 Well that’s bad for productivity haha, poor ol hobby forge couldn’t keep up with the demand I put on her Ofer the last few months . On the bright side I get to build a better one! Yeeeehaa!!! If I remember to take picks as I go I’ll upload the progress through today stay tuned and thank you for all your support

18.01.2022 Hey folks! I will be taking preorders for camp fire cooking racks, I can make 2/3/4 legged versions of these, 4 being 2each end with the bar across the top. Prices will be 3 legs $50, 2 legs-bar across top as in picture will be $80, and 4 legs $120. All will include an adjustable pot hanger, additional pot hangers can be bought separately for $40 each. Christmas is coming, get the camping guru something to last a generation! And remember... blades are my specialty! So get that special someone a beautiful knife for Christmas! Cheers guys!

15.01.2022 The next two items stepping up to the forge are a Damascus EDC (every day carry) knife and a ww2 trench knife complete with cast brass knuckle guard. Should be an interesting and busy week . Keep those orders coming folks! Cheers

14.01.2022 A throwing axe completed this week, it has come out a little light but is going to make a wonderful camp axe

13.01.2022 Hey guys! Hope everyone is keeping well ok first things first thank you once again for supporting my page and my business, work is always appreciated . Now, having said that, a few of you know that we have just had our little boy, he is now 12 weeks old and is doing well after some early stumbles with health issues that needed sorting out (almost daily trips to hospital), we now have him on the formula he can have and he’s putting on healthy weight. So production has been ...slow because my fiancé has been looking after him at night and I have been during the day. Now, my fiancé has returned to work (late shift) so needs to sleep during the morning, not leaving much time to smith . But because he’s now getting in to a better rhythm and starting to sleep a bit more, hopefully that means things can get moving again Now, to business. Questions have been raised over the quality of the steel that I use in my products, I could swear black and blue that the knives I make are of the highest quality and are guaranteed to last for a generation but until you buy one it’s my word for it, and those who have actually bought an item. So..... in light of this fact, over the next few months I will make a video of the different steels I use in my smithing, I will perform different tests including cut, durability, edge retention, and a snap test on the three different steels I use to make different blades for different uses. So, thank you for reading this far lol, and I hope to put everyone at ease with productivity. Your items will be made as I can get to them for you thank you folks, see you all later

13.01.2022 Anyone interested in garden hangers? I can pick up the steel today and have them ready by tomorrow, $20 each

12.01.2022 The next generation blacksmith was born today at 0302 weighing in at 2750 g, welcome to the world Rylan, my youngest son

11.01.2022 New forge baking the high temp mortar, and a piece of rebar for decoration haha

11.01.2022 So, some brainstorming, trial and error and determination to get it done and I have come up with this!! She ain’t pretty but she works and I can upgrade with some kaowool later on for extra insulation around the casing. Happy I did this all on my own without any outside influences, makes it all the more satisfying and gives me a sense of pride in my work

06.01.2022 First abalone knife and first Teflon handle, was a very experimental build but it came together pretty good

06.01.2022 Hanging chains and hooks for lanterns, and outdoor ambiance, beeswaxed for weather proofing, nice little project last night

01.01.2022 The first of many I hope forged from 12mm rebar, riveted hook to hold them all together, but to also come apart easily. Made two different pot hooks, one for shallow fires ie: an above ground fire and one for a sunken fire. Ground forks on each leg prevents them from slipping or sliding around and it all self tightens when you add more weight as far as simple projects go that are successful.... this one has to be a favourite! Tomorrow all the parts go in the vinegar bath to soak the rust off then a healthy coating of beeswax to prevent rusting further. Your grandchildren will love these when they are camping with their grandchildren
