Some very slick attack work on display and when we created opportunities defensively, we were able to pull away. The team is enjoying every game and improving connections on court each week. https://www.facebook.com/theadvisoryfs/

23.01.2022 VVNC members - we need you! As you would’ve seen from the email a couple weeks back, as a user group of the Happy Valley Sports park we are participating in the Australia Day brekkie at Happy Valley Sports Park. It’s a free event where there will be a FREE hot brekkie served, flag raising event, music, free kids events such as a bouncy castle and face painting! ... As a user group we are required to help out on the day! We have been allocated the role of ‘food server’ and there’s also a few odd jobs to be done aswell. Thank you to those who have already volunteered your time to help! But we do need a few extra helpers. It’s a morning event and ends by 11am and family friendly. So if you have a couple hours free and would like to help out and have some fun please let me know asap [email protected] If you can’t help, I understand but we’d love to see your faces at the oval with your families! Bring a picnic rug and watch the festivities! Also if there are any junior players who are keen to wear their netball dresses and shoot some hoops at our Netball tent and hand out pamphlets, please let me know! Let’s get out netball community together and have a great time while eating a free brekkie on Australia Day!
22.01.2022 Stay strong Vikings, we got this!
21.01.2022 We have a home!!!!! Tonight we had our first training at our new courts!!!! We couldn’t be where we are today without the help of some amazing people behind the scenes! A huge thank you to Steve Murray MP, Member for Davenport ... Happy Valley Football Club Happy Valley Cricket Club Corey Wingard City of Onkaparinga Netball SA And of course Happy Valley Tennis Club for sharing their facilities. We look forward to growing a great sporting relationship together! A huge thank you to our players, parents and members for your support and patience over the last 12 months while we worked hard to secure home training courts. A huge thanks to our commitee members past and present for bringing this vision to life! We couldn’t have done it without the support of our sponsors who have stuck with us through a difficult 6 months and financially helped our club! Last but not least a special shout out to Heather and Amie for working tirelessly to bring the Vikings Netball Club back into the Vikings community.
21.01.2022 The round 6 juniors match results are brought to you by one of our major sponsors Steve Murray MP for Davenport. Click the link below for his Facebook page! **** U13 (1) **** VVNC 1 Verse Willunga Score: LOSS 13-18... The girls played the opposition for the second time this season. They played fantastic, in the second quarter Willunga scored ten goals to our one. The girls won the third quarter by scoring 5 goals. They are working really hard at training and it shows in their game performance. **** U13 (2) **** VVNC 2 Verse Southern Stars White Score: WIN 41-10 Girls dominated from start to finish leaving the opposition scoreless in the 2nd quarter. **** INTERS (1) **** VVNC 1 Verse Ladybirds Score: DRAW 8-8 The girls dominated the court and controlled most of the game. Our defence was on fire but some rushed passes made for a low scoring game. The game was called off at 3/4 time due to weather conditions. **** INTERS (2) **** VVNC 2 Verse Port Noarlunga 3 Score: LOSS 8-15 The girls pushed really hard in the second quarter, playing their best quarter of the season! Unfortunately the girls got tired in the third quarter and lost their momentum. Due to severe lightening the game was called late in the third. The girls pushed themselves and showed that they are really taking in the skills they are learning at training. https://www.facebook.com/SteveMurrayDavenport/
17.01.2022 The session is over half booked out, don't miss out and register today!

15.01.2022 The round 6 seniors match results are brought to you by our sponsor EnerG+. Head over to their Facebook page by clicking the link below! **** B1 **** VVNC 1 Verse Seaford Score: WIN 33-17... The girls put on an awesome display of controlled netball in windy conditions with defensive pressure all over the court causing many turn overs. **** B3 **** VVNC 2 Verse Cove Black Score: WIN 33-30 Held our nerve and treasured the ball to win a close one. Our shooting was solid and defensive work was great. **** B4 **** VVNC 3 Verse Southern Stars Score: LOSS 17-23 It was a reasonably even game across the court. Flat footed and and lacking urgency to the ball put them behind at half time. They came out strong in the second half with some brilliant defence however connections in the attack end didn't see this rewarded. **** C1 **** VVNC 4 Verse Morphett Vale 3 Score: WIN 40-29 We started off slow and finished the half even, but the shooters were on fire in the third pulling away on the scoreboard. We finished the game winners. Really happy with how the girls are playing! **** C2 **** VVNC 5 Verse Pulse Score: LOSS 19-21 We fought in windy conditions and took a quarter to get our momentum up. Unfortunately Pulse took a big lead and despite playing a solid attacking last quarter we didn’t quite make it back. **** C4 **** VVNC 6 Verse Port Noarlunga Rays Score: WIN 19-18 It was a close game throughout but the girls managed to win by one. https://www.facebook.com/energplusfitness/
