23.01.2022 Dr Terence Yuen BDS FRACDS FICD Dental Surgeon... A graduate from University of Adelaide, Terry is the principal dentist and co-founder of Village Dental & Implant Centre. He has special interest in minor oral surgery and implant dentistry. He is a senior dental consultant to Aust Craniofacial Unit of the Women's and Childen's Hospital and Royal Adelaide Hospital. He travels regularly to Sydney to perform implant surgery. He also mentors other dentists in the field of implant dentistry. In 2001, Terry set up the Lions East Timor Dental Project and has since travelled twice yearly to East Timor to provide free dental treatment to those in need. In 2008, he was awarded the Professional of the Year. Outside dentistry he loves fishing, hiking and growing orchids.

14.01.2022 Dr Andrew Kow BDS Dental Surgeon... Andrew has been in private practice in Glenside, SA for more than 30 years. He is a principal partner with Dr Terry Yuen in the Village Dental & Implant Centre. His special interests are in Non-amalgam restorations, Cosmetic dentistry, Minor oral surgery and Implant dentistry. He has worked with several dental colleagues in a a mentor relationship. Andrew has been the past president of the Adelaide Chinese Lions' Club for 11 years. His hobbies include tennis, golf, cave diving and also scuba diving instructing.

05.01.2022 Patients often come in with problems with their wisdom teeth thinking that they have to go to hospital to have them removed. What they aren't aware of is that the procedure can actually be done at our dental practice under a local anaesthetic (so only the mouth is numb) even if the teeth are impacted!
