10.01.2022 WOW, what a BUSY July we have had here at the centre! At Village, we pride ourselves on ensuring our program is child centered and that their knowledge, strengths, ideas, culture and interests are the foundations of our daily learning. Here is some of what weve been up to lately... There are some beautiful representations of our families from Babies, Juniors and Kindy, its great to see them recognize themselves and who belongs to their family. Kindy have drawn some individu...al interpretations of who is part of their family! Toddlers have been having a roar-some time learning about Dinosaurs and have made their own Dinosaur Cave! Pre Prep learnt about What trees do for us and did some amazing interpretative drawings of trees!

08.01.2022 Standard 3.3 of the National Quality Standard aims to encourage children to increase their understanding about their responsibility to care for the environment, day to day, and for long-term sustainability. We as early childhood educators have an opportunity to support children in retaining the sense of awe and wonder that they are born with, to add to that a desire to nurture and protect what is beautiful, and to encourage them to appreciate that there are many possibilities for honouring life and wonders that the world holds.

It’s cancelled events and travel plans with lockdowns and it forced major lifestyle changes; like social distancing but we didn’t grow apart we leant on and supported each other when and where we needed to Thank you to all our amazing Educators at Village, our essential workers who went above and beyond in uncertain and unprecedented ti...mes. We appreciate how loving, happy, creative, resourceful and supportive you have been throughout 2020, you have all worked extremely hard, you implemented new policies and practices/procedures all to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all our families and their children we care for each and every day. Thank you also to our Village families for your unwavering support and trust this year, and always, we wouldn’t be who or what we are without all of you; so thank you for embracing the changes so well it certainly has made our job that little bit easier!
