25.01.2022 Every year during December and January, Educating Kids tries to support a worthwhile charity. This year we have found a charity that strikes a cord with all of us Educators and would love to get as many families as possible to help donate to Hope in a Suitcase As Educators we have often witness first hand children that have been placed in foster care with none of their own possession. Hope in a Suitcase calls for donations of either a full suitcase of items specifically for... a child (age and sex determined) or a collection of items that could be added to a suitcase for a child who enters foster care. We will have a display at each centre of items that are suitable for all different age groups. Hope in a Suitcase gives children a sense of normal in a very stressful time in their lives. You and your family may choose to donate a whole suitcase of items for a specific age group or donate an item or two to go into making a suitcase for a child. Each centre will have a dedicated area to collect items/suitcase so drop off to Domain, CBD or Kirwan centre any time from now until end of January. 16.01.2022 Educating Kids Early Learning is looking for an assistant trainee at their Kirwan centre on Thuringowa Drive. The successful applicant will be employed fulltime working 38 hr per week between and including the hours of 6am to 6pm.
