22.01.2022 Villa Howden is currently closed to all guests. From the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic we increased our hygiene practices and changed aspects of our operation to provide our services in a safe manner. But our operating response measures were unable to be maintained in a way that could ensure the safety of both our staff and guests as the situation in Tasmania grew. Under current government restrictions, neither Bruni’s Restaurant or Villa Howden accommodation are able... to operate as our business is set up to, and as a result we have closed our doors to the public for the time being. We urge you to keep up to date with the Public Health information relevant to your area, for us in Tasmania this can be found at https://www.coronavirus.tas.gov.au As the situation changes, we will provide updates on our reopening on our Facebook page. 05.01.2022 We’re excited to announce the gradual reopening of Villa Howden! We will be reopening gradually in line with government restrictions and public health advice. On the 23rd of May, we will restart our high tea service on Saturdays and Sundays for up to 10 people! Our staff will be ensuring that the required one person per four square meters regulation is complied with. ... Our accommodation service will resume on June 15th, subject to Stage Two of Tasmania’s COVID-19 reopening strategy commencing.
