25.01.2022 It’s can be hard to find antique children’s chairs - we dragged this set of four out of a shed in Sydney. So cute.

25.01.2022 With drink in hand, Ratty considered his options.....and with one more sip, the decision was made..........

25.01.2022 c1920 Kitchen Dresser. Love the Art Deco Leadlighting and the mint green drawers and bottom panel.

25.01.2022 Already dreading Christmas? The thought of Uncle Barry in a shirt from Lowe’s loitering around the pool after 10 tinnies send shivers down your spine? Come lay on the Chesterfield and share all your concerns with us....

24.01.2022 We have a great collection of antique hay forks. Prefect for toasting marshmallows, home defence and, I guess, for moving hay

23.01.2022 Meanwhile, at ‘Flock at the Carrington’ I’ve had a great idea........

23.01.2022 Keep it simple Black top Black pants Black furniture

22.01.2022 Just in NSW Colonial Cedar Station Masters Desk. Beautiful piece of colonial furniture originally from western Sydney.

19.01.2022 Are you like me and like the idea of having a bookcase but don’t know how to read? Hide your ignorance, stupidity and shame with a bookcase that already has books!

18.01.2022 Very cute set of scales complete with box and weights. A great ornament or essential for measuring fine powders - like baking soda when making scones!

18.01.2022 We just found a Christmas present for your neighbour.

16.01.2022 Finally a bird bath that is like you. A little modern and stylish, yet still maintaining rustic elements and industrial charm.

16.01.2022 I suddenly feel very thirsty.....

12.01.2022 Say this in a David Attenborough voice - ‘ here we find the antique dealer in his natural habitat. Deep within the vines, in search of Shiraz. Easily startled by the mention of mass produced furniture, yet attracted by colonial cedar and open wine bottles.....’ (Delivery to Lake George Winery this morning)

12.01.2022 If you were growing up in California in the 70s you would have seen one of these on a VW dealers desk or the rich kid up the road would have had one. This ‘Young Master’ Bettle pedal car is missing a few parts but retains its hood badge and all hub caps. Parts are avaliable for restoration in the US with restored examples going for $1700. Very cool.

12.01.2022 Unpacking stock makes my head hurt.

10.01.2022 In store later this week. These stunning French c1920 matching sideboards are beautiful - marble topped, beautiful French oak timber with classical details and amazing quality. It will actually be the second time these pieces have come through the store. We sold them about 5 years ago and now, due to a customers downsizing, they are ready to continue their journey.

10.01.2022 Slice of this in your lunchbox and you’re set for the day.

09.01.2022 As you prepare to go and buy rubbish plastic toys this Christmas check this out. Established in 1898 in Nuremberg, Gunthermann produced a large range of tin mechanical toys. The company thrived until the onslaught of World War Two during which their factory was totally destroyed. Post war rebuilding saw the company rise gain with US assistance. This wind up Ford Sedan c1950 still has a beautiful paint job, has chunky white walls and still operates. I know a few blokes from the 50s. Their paint jobs are flaky, they are white and chunky in all the wrong places and they barely operate.

09.01.2022 Very cool Solicitors Bookcase.

08.01.2022 I’ll admit! I haven’t seen your hall table. But, compared to this antique work bench, I believe your hall table sucks. It will be in store next week.

08.01.2022 But Mummy! I’ll simply die if I don’t get a pony for Christmas!

07.01.2022 Irish c1900 Pine Linen Press. Plenty of storage for wine, christmas presents or, well, linen too I guess.

07.01.2022 A Beauty Of a Butchers Block.

04.01.2022 Merry Christmas ya’ll.......

03.01.2022 With the weather warming up and the festive season around the corner, many of us think of time with family and friends. I think of booze - and this is the perfect 1960s cocktail cabinet to crack open the silly season. Made in Perth from teak c1965 and with a tambour front it’s groovey baby!

03.01.2022 I’ll assume that’s not glysophate and enjoy my Xmas drink! Hope everyone’s having a good day.

03.01.2022 Drive safe this long weekend and stop in Bungendore to fill up.

01.01.2022 This Colonial Cedar Miners Couch has been in Bungendore for many years. Freshly reupholstered it’s ready for the next stage of its journey.

01.01.2022 Why are Beetle engines in the back? So when you’re pushing it your hands stay warm.
