24.01.2022 A friend of mine James Jelley has nominated me to share a song. Mine is John Martyns "May You Never". Recorded in the early 1970's it's one of those tunes that feels timeless. Warm drop D guitar runs under a prayer like lyric to deliver a beautiful song that moves and soothes in the one musical breath. 23.01.2022 Are you ok? I wrote the song "I'm Ok" during the hardest few months of my life (so far). I was anything but ok but growing up in the country I remembered some old bush wisdom - "the driest day of a drought, is the day before it breaks". So I figured all I had to do was keep breathing, keep putting one foot in front of the other, keep singing, and maybe the new day would bring relief. 12.01.2022 Reality shows based around music get me in every time (x factor, The Voice etc). Sadly I feel they can chew people up and spit them out.
