24.01.2022 Finished off this order today.

23.01.2022 Been working on some canvas paintings...birds are turning out as my favourites.

21.01.2022 Finished the wrens and the horse today.

18.01.2022 Doggies was an order filled and working on some finches.

17.01.2022 Almost finished the parrots, just need to spray lacquer it and need to add a bit more touch up to the possum I started today.

11.01.2022 These little guys are painted on 13cm wooden discs. Blue fairy wren, Zebra finch and red eared fire tail.

10.01.2022 Recent additions. The guinea pig was a trial run. I collected a couple of flat river rocks to see how they’d look painted. The duck was a bit of a nightmare as the palm frond was bent and had tiny vertical ridges running through it, and I noticed if I watered down the paint too much, it bled down the ridges. The koala is still in progress. There will be one of each side and surrounded in gum leaves.

08.01.2022 I’ve gotten used to painting on the palm fronds, that I thought I should try other mediums. I bought a pad of canvas sheets to see how I’d go. With the palm fronds, you can sandpaper off anything you don’t like or mistakes but with the canvas, that luxury isn’t there.

05.01.2022 I decided to add another wren, some final touches to Mr horse and completed a decoupage serving tray with snack tubs.
