25.01.2022 Vine Art Studio continues to remain closed due to the excessive dust problem on Blocks Road Once council rectified the problem we will be able to reopen Thank you for your patience

24.01.2022 Due to the ongoing dust problem on Blocks Road in Leasingham exasperated by the Clare and Gilbert Valley Councils remaking of the road and choice of materials we have no choice but to close for the present The road is now wider and dustier with cars travelling past at 70 or 80km an hour now despite repeated requests for people to slow down As an artist it’s almost impossible for me to paint now as dust comes in even through closed windows and doors... The only solution is to spend $25,000 plus on having bitumen put past our property I have been asking for help from the council to resolve this issue since July this year but instead of resolving the small section past our property they proceeded to widen the whole of Blocks Road presenting us with a much bigger problem than before Some of us take risks and open new businesses to bring more people into the Clare Valley and we are disappointed it has come to this We are closed until further notice or we get rain Thank you to everyone’s support over the last five or six years
