We are playing at 3pm at Peter van Hasselt oval (Palmyra Avenue, Wilmot) against Penrith Baps (losing Grand Finalists last year and again against us on Gala Day in March 2020). 08.01.2022 As we near the year's end it is time to put out the call... WE ARE LOOKING FOR PLAYERS!! Anyone interested in joining Vineyard Cross FC for the 2020 season (rego in Feb, start playing in March) please get in touch!! All games played on Sat afternoons Contact me (Mark) on 0403 166067 (just a txt will do for starters)... If you know someone who can kick a ball pretty well and might be interested, let them know! 04.01.2022 Preparations continue for the exciting new season for VCFC... We actually even had a training session under our new coach! That's a first for the club - how many more milestones shall we reach and breach this time around?? For anyone wanting a sneak peak at the new-look team, Vineyard Cross have entered 2 teams for this Saturday's pre-season 6-a-side Gala Day tournament to be held at Wycliffe School (Warrimoo) starting at 11.30am Most of the new players will be involved and there will be the renowned Wycliffe Taco Van available for lunch After that it is only 2 weeks until the season begins... and VCFC takes on Div1

02.01.2022 Can Vineyard Cross FC get a 2nd team together in time to have a team in both Div 1 and Div 2 for the 2020 season??? TIME IS RUNNING SHORT - we need to know THIS WEEK if there are enough bodies to make this happen! Please let us know ASAP We would be the only team this season to do that and it will give us plenty of strength going forward as well as a lot of fun for those who come along and give it a go! If not you specifically is there anyone else that you k...now who might be interested??? The Div 2 team needs no prior experience and trainings are totally optional. Games are to be played at 1pm on Saturdays. Rego is a very reasonable $230 for the season. Teams are male only (sadly) and minimum age to play is 16 (no maximum!) If it happens it will be a "youth-based" team with a bunch of willing "more experienced" (at least in Life if not football) players filling out the squad.
