23.01.2022 So far this week we have done lots of indoor and outdoor activities... firstly I would like to welcome our kids who came back after many weeks. They explored different identities and points of view in dramatic play ( l.o. 1.3b) I am happy to see they all are playful and respond positively also happily exploring their play environment, cooperating with each other. We had group times where children showed their great interest . They participated with other kids and contributed to group outcomes... ( l.o.2.4) Still many more things to do this week ... stay tuned

20.01.2022 Daffodil day ( 28th aug 2020) The daffodil is recognised internationally as the symbol of hope for all people affected by cancer. Cancer Council chose it as our emblem as the bright yellow colouring heralds the return of spring, representing new life and growth. To Cancer Council, and those affected by cancer, the daffodil represents hope for a cancer free future.

14.01.2022 Week 3 Aug - 7th Aug/2020 This week all the children got engaged by doing lots of indoor and outdoor activities, we focused on writing letter A . I made dots and showed them , how to write by using dots. Children practiced with me , after few attempts they showed increasing knowledge, understanding. It was very busy week, we concentrate on baking as well. As we all love to eat cupcakes. My kids love to decorate so they contributed their own ideas to decorated the cupcak...es. While they were decorating, children shared tools exchanged ideas and showed great respect n love towards each others. I always encourage children to use recycled materials for Art n Crafts. This week we used milk canes n made piggy bank... in this corona time my little ones learnt how to save money and keep it in our piggy bank. See more

14.01.2022 Today children got busy by doing science experiment. We did milk magical experiment. This science experiment is simple to set up and quickly gets to the ‘wow factor’ that brought smile to my children’s face. What did we use??? Milk Dish soap Food colours... Cotton balls What is the science behind it, simply put? Milk is made up of mostly water but it does contain vitamins, minerals, proteins and small droplets of fat. The fat and proteins are super sensitive to changes in the milk and so when the dishwashing liquid is added a chemical reaction occurs. After doing this experiment we went further . Children used their own creation, asked for paper and they put paper in milk tray. Each and everyone was happy to see their beautiful painting. ( L. O. 4.4) children explored ideas and theories using their own creativity.

13.01.2022 Let’s find ladybugs in our garden... the search was on but unfortunately we couldn’t find ladybugs. I don’t want my children to get disappoint. So we created our own ladybugs by using recycled material. Children explored their ideas and used imagination creativity and play. ( L.O. 4.4h)

13.01.2022 Naidoc Week (8th - 15th nov) we kicked off Naidoc Week learning what the Aboriginal colours represent, the Indigenous Flag. We made boomerang . Discussed about it... how we used it .

09.01.2022 Rainbow science experiment How to Make Rainbow Colored Baking Soda The only hard part about this baking soda and vinegar experiment is mixing the colors. Here’s exactly how we dyed the baking soda:... 1. Scoop 4 BIG spoonfuls of baking soda into a bowl 2. Add 2-3 drops (or more if you’d like) of food coloring 3. Pour a small amount of water into the bowl (like a teaspoon or two) 4. MIx 5. Note: I added a drop of food coloring to the water to help brighten the color of the baking soda! 6. There will be little clumps of baking soda from the moisture, but the baking soda shouldn’t be wet. We dyed the baking soda each color in the rainbow and set the colors side by side in a baking pan. Then, I put out a jar of vinegar with some syringes. Popping the bubbles was my preschooler’s favorite part! But, my favorite part was taking the jar of vinegar and pouring it along the entire rainbow!!
