24.01.2022 Here is a Cigar Box guitar built with a shorter scale then we normally build them , why you might ask! Reason is it has to fit in a luggage bag and be taken to South Africa . The scale is 525mm.

15.01.2022 HI ALL. VINMEN GUITARS will be at the Echuca Winter Blues Festival again on 27th,28th ,29th July which is in a couple of weeks. As usual we will set up a stall and have available our hand built cigar box guitars and electric guitars , these are some of the most unusual and beautiful instruments of this type around ,built with precession and playability in mind . We will also have some used guitars and amplifiers as well as accessories. Hope to see you there ,come and look us up ,we would love to have a chat to you and demo our instruments to you .If you have not heard a cigar box guitar before you will be blown away .bye all .

10.01.2022 Chris has just picked up the two Cigar Box quitars which he ordered from Vinmen Guitars.Made to Chris's requirements right here at Vinmen's in melbourne.One fretless and the other with frets. Both are carrying humbucker pickups , fully adjustable bridge and Volume and tone pots.Necks are American Rock Maple with Tassie Oak fret boards. Frets are medium size.Hope you have many hours of enjoyment playing them Chris.

09.01.2022 Here are some guitar necks being made , I use American Rock Maple.And also pictured is one of the three string guitars I just completed and already is sold .These three string guitars come fretted or not fretted. The non fretted models are played in slide fashion, they give out a bluesy sound as do our cigar box guitars. By all and keep on strumming.
