25.01.2022 A Gorgeous pair of French Provincial Bedside Table $180 now $140 This gorgeous pair of French Provincial Bedside Tables... have been lovingly painted with a chalk-style paint, in a colour called duck egg, the sides have been given a French stripe in white, then the stripe was embellished with a silver gilding pen for that dramatic look. The top was stenciled in the same white as the stripe on the side, with a French script love letter. It was then layered with the word Paris on top in Silver acrylic paint and outlined in black to highlight the word Paris. The front of the drawers was also given the stenciled treatment, one facing up, the same facing down. The handles were painted silver for the finishing touch. Both pieces were given a light distressing to age the drawers. The insides of the drawers were also painted to completely refresh them inside and out. The sides of the drawers were also distressed to look like wear and tear. I have noticed in the pictures that one bedside looks slightly lighter than the other, it actually is, but extremely hard to pick up. I am unsure why as both were painted exactly the same. Possibly the timber they are made from. Once all the details were finished they were given two coats of matt clear topcoat. Then a white wax was used to add another dimension to the pair. I am always happy to answer questions and am also open to sensible offers. I hope to sort this out soon with some of my study coming to an end, granted I have more starting but I hope to find some help to get my furniture posted.
