25.01.2022 Been sorting out some more bits and pieces for next Sunday's collectors fair at Cannington - these might interest some of the motoring and garagenalia fraternity and the movie buffs.
23.01.2022 Just had a request from someone who has retro games/toys etc available and wanting contact details of collectors in order to offer them wholesale purchases. I refused the request and extended an offer to the person to attend the Fair and speak directly to collectors. Regretfully the person was quite rude when his request for individual contact details was refused.... I will NOT give out contact details of collectors taking part in my Fairs. This assurance is printed on the application form for each Fair. If someone wants to make contact with a particular collector(s), I will pass on their request to the collector and leave it to the collector to make contact. IMHO this is in keeping with the ideal of ethical business practice and the intent of Australia's privacy laws.
23.01.2022 This big old trunk will be for sale at the Cannington Collectors Fair on Sunday 8 March. Would make someone a great toy box !! Metal clad outside.
22.01.2022 Just a reminder that the collector's fair planned for Sunday is CANCELLED. There was just not enough time to get it underway and advertised given the very recent announcement of Covid19 restrictions being amended. We will still have to have correct social distancing and cleaning regimens. The next fair is planned for 16 August for Dolls, Toys, Games and Models.
09.01.2022 Some of the West Australia ephemera that will on sale at the Fair tomorrow (Sunday 16 August). Cannington Exhibition Centre, cnr Albany Hwy & Station St from 10am to 3pm. Lots of collectables on sale plus the annual open day with the WA Toy & Doll Group
08.01.2022 Just confirming that the Collector's Fair scheduled for Sunday 28 June 2020 at Cannington is CANCELLED due to the Convid19 situation. Keep fingers crossed that the August one might be possible if we're allowed to hold indoor events for more than 100 people in a room/space.
