07.01.2022 Some stuff to remember during market disruptions; - it’s normal and healthy for markets to rise and fall -selling or switching to more conservative investments like cash and fixed interest during a down turn will lock in a loss... ... -shares are cheaper during a down turn when they are undervalued. Over the long term , these offer higher returns; perhaps look at this as an opportunities to buy more?? -companies will still pay dividends and these may not be affected by the rises and falls - don’t try to pick the bottom of the market - stick to your long term investment strategy which is based on your individual goals.
