24.01.2022 (Sold) 'Miss me Mint' spindle chair finally finished It's painted in milk paint from Oakridge Designs! The wax is from @mrs.skinners stables and the by @jocelynproustdesigns . It was in a dilapidated state but most of the spindles were there There were layers and layers of paint and shellac that needed to be removed with various solvents and steel wool in all the turned pieces and carvings using scrapers, chisels and a wire brush The top carved area had been covered with red leather..so hundreds of teeny tacks removed. There was no seat and gaps needed filling. A new seat made and covered with fabric put the finishing touch on!.

24.01.2022 (Sold) Something for the kiddies prepped yesterday... two little tools and timber box. Little fire engine has already rushed off to a new home ! The stools, previously bright green and ' folk-arted', were given a lick of blue, the tops sanded back, a mandala stencil added and finished with a triple dose of lovely smelling wax from Mrs Skinner’s Stable Mudgee. $40 each.The box painted in the same blue was rustified on the edges plus waxed.40x30x29 $45

19.01.2022 (Sold) Pre- loved Modern Glass Coffee Table - I love this piece and it pairs well with mid-century design. The glass allows for uninterrupted vision and gives the illusion of space. There are a couple of chips as shown. This one measures 1300 l x 650w x 390h $180. It is tempered glass & 10ml thick.

15.01.2022 Get ready for the Spring weather! This 3 piece cane setting can be set two ways - as three seats or add the sides and convert to a 3 seater. Perfect for extra guests or kicking back in the sun Some losses to the cane here and there but still robust enough for some rough and tumble from the kids. Fabric is in fairly good condition and are removable although some new ones would really lift this piece. Message if you would like to inspect!

15.01.2022 (Sold) Old revamped meatsafe all done.. it works so well to stage all of your special little vintage pieces! With original little locks and glorious patina from years of weathering, she was in a bad way when I got her with dodgy 'upgrades' of glass and warped ply inserts. (There is a before pic) It was completely stripped, a good scrub, old wire replaced in the 'windows' and reclaimed cedar beading all around. It's been finished with lovely linseed oil to bring out the colours of timber, mint & lemon. A big shout out to hubby for doing all those mitre cuts on the edgings . I would have totally messed that up I particularly love the little shelf with some old advertising words

14.01.2022 (Sold) Old Rustic long Ladder - has so much character from it's handmade background with drips of paint and rusty nails. Hang your favourite things or hang it horizontally to display a collection of vintage nic-naks and old books. This one is 245cm l x 44cm wide and 7.5cm deep. $90 Delivery available!

14.01.2022 (Sold)French style antique chair given a soft rustic finish. A soft pink chalk paint was chosen to contrast with the Hessian fabric for a rustic elegant look. Lots of repairs and tack removal was undertaken before some serious filling, sanding and undercoat. (Sold) After the top chalk coat in dulux 'elusive' (quarter) and some heavy distressing, gold leaf was applied then taken back with steel wool. The final step for the frame work was some light and dark wax for an age effect. Some new foam and recovered with a good quality hessian paired nicely with the soft pink Its a lovely statement piece for a generous bedroom or guest room, hall or entrance. A strong and sturdy chair with some weight to it! DM if you need this! delivery available!

11.01.2022 These Unique Oak Chairs have a lovely band of carving on the back rest, cabriole legs and newly covered seats. I decided on blue fabric so thank you for you input on f/b & insta This fabric was the best quality and thickness for the project and well - matched to the Oak. It will also fit into most decors so a bit easier from a selling point of view. They are sturdy and compact if space is an issue. PM is you are on the hunt for some chairs! $495 set of 4.

08.01.2022 Mahogany dresser top mirror..a lovely timeless piece gives some extra mirror room when you have extra guest! Although some wear and de-silvering to the mirror, it is still very useable and it stands at 70cm h x 72 w. $90
