22.01.2022 It’s always such a blast visiting my darling friend @cherie_hausler at the stables on her Barossa Valley farm. Besides being totally spoilt with tea and cake on arrival every visit, I’ve also been lucky enough to source a lot of the props and style this amazing space! It all comes together pretty organically, especially when Cherie and I have similar taste. All the rustic, industrial, hand made ‘farm stuff’, paired with Cherie’s bird nest collection and kitchen favourites is ...really, a match made in heaven. The @allthethings_au tv set, production kitchen and extension of her home, looking out to the rolling farm hills, makes for a pretty fabulous backdrop. In case you missed it, you can now take a nosey of the stunning stable renovation (among other delights) via her new tv program All The Things. 15.01.2022 E L E V E N Today marks 11 years since I opened the doors to Vintage Carousel! Its a little hard to believe really. As I get ready to welcome my baby in November, my first baby (VC) is taking a backseat for the first time in over a decade.... What a ride! Im totally humbled and beyond grateful to still be open and busier than ever. Ive been fortunate enough to work on so many projects over the years, including weddings, events, festivals, photo shoots, television commercials, sourcing for a multitude of other creatives, and collaborating with some of the best in the business. From a modest little store to a multilayered business, VC has been quite the evolution. Of course, I wouldnt still be here if it wasnt for the continual, dedicated support from all of YOU! With the cloud of uncertainty 2020 has brought, it also has brought so many silver linings. Im lucky to be living out my dream, to be continually inspired, supported and granted new opportunities all the time. Thank you for making this a reality! Theres still so much more to share with you yet! Work is taking a backseat for a few months while I navigate the new world of motherhood. VC will be open for 2 more weeks, before temporarily closing on September 27th. Im hoping to be open in some capacity for December, so stay tuned for updates.
