Darrens VH SS has been in the planning/build stages with us for over 12 months now, althou...gh during that time, in true Darren fashion, the plans changed and goal posts were moved about 50 times! We were delivered the car this time 3 weeks ago as basically a bare roller with a rear end, with the mad plan to make Motorvation! Lundy from Lundy Race Fab, Dom from Audio Image and Myself got to work making it happen along with the help of Steve from Vintage Commodores, Glenn from Mirror Image Panel and Paint and Darrens trimmer Tim. 14.01.2022 One part that has been impossible to find is the little ignition switch leaf type return spring It’s job is to ensure that the key springs back off of the starter motor position to protect the electrical in the ignition circuit when starting your car In 20 years we have never found an unbroken one in any of our vehicles , true unicorn poop ... A friend gifted a NOS one to us and we knew exactly what to do with it Now available in the web shop

10.01.2022 CLUB REGO HITS WESTERN AUSTRALIA Well It sure took it’s sweet time , but it’s available to all DOT registered car club members with vehicles built prior to 1st of January 1990. I personally took advantage of the Concession for Classics (C4C) on Friday with 4 of my Vintage Commodores, the C4C includes modified vehicles which is Brilliant.... Car 1 - 1986 VL SL Turbo Car 2 - 1988 VL Aero Replica EFI V8 Car 3 - 1984 VK Group A Replica LS1 & T56 Car 4 - 1984 Custom Made VK Ute Thought I would take the time to explain these concessions ( average rego saving of $600 per car per year ) is not just for Unmodified old cars , they are for any vehicle built up to 1-1-1990 that is currently registered and the owner is a financial member of a approved car club WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GET THE C4C ? 1. Join a car club 2. Fill in the Concession form on DOT website 3. Have an approved member of your car club sign the declaration and enter your vehicles details in the clubs register 4. Present form to DOT WHAT LIMITATIONS DO I NOW HAVE 1. 30 personal days use per year per car 2. Up to 60 days of Club sanctioned events per year per car 3. Must display a RESTRICTED USE sign attached to number plate 4. Maintain a log book for each vehicle WHAT IF I WANT TO USE MY CAR MORE If you decide that 30 days plus 60 days of club sanctioned events is not enough , you can pay for standard rego , let’s say 3 months , then switch back again to C4C should you need to daily your classic for a while.
