14.01.2022 This is a really tough post to write. Not as tough as it has been over the last 2.5 years of struggling to understand the ebb and flow of people's eating habits. I have tried so many innovations and ideas but still it is a fickle industry. So many locals have supported this business right from the start making Friday nights like a small family with their attendance and their individual quirkiness's. I grew so enamored to these folk that when a group disintegrated it took wit...h it a piece of my heart and enthusiasm. Along with that comes the daily slog of working in constant pain and being cross and cranky with myself mostly and my own inability to function the way I want to. My staff are like friends, and they are wonderful people. I wont miss them as we will stay together. But the Vintage Dining will close after Christmas. Christmas Day is our final gig. We will cook, feed, clean up whilst singing the whole day through. Then comes the onerous task of packing, storing and moving. THANK YOU FOLKS, from the bottom of my heart I thank everyone who supported us. EVERYONE. You were all amazing eaters and relishes' of my food. We will still trade Friday 11, Saturday 12, Sunday 13, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20th and then on 25th for lunch.
