17.01.2022 Customer we are building #lotustwincam engine for at the moment purchased a pair of second-hand 45 DCOE Weber carbs to be used on the build. Previous owner had painted the main housings (not only the exterior...) and had the top covers chromed....? We have completely disassembled the carbs, removed all the residual paint, carefully masked and blasted the main housings and will replace parts as required. We had the residual chrome plate removed from the top covers by Mitch at @seven4works who also Cerakoted the tops. They look very neat now and the customer support and assistance we had from 74 Works was top shelf.
