25.01.2022 Vincent valance manufacture. This is a few pictures of forming the inside safety and stiffening edge of the valance . The initial stage is done with an in house made custom roller set the the rest is formed with hammer work . Approx 400 hits with a set of panel hammers per side to get them exactly right

The valances are rough cut ready for accurate cutting now and the first sheet is ready to be cut to make the blank guards . When we are done there will be 10 fronts and 10 rears Ill post more picture of the whole process

13.01.2022 Triumph pre 1948 rear guards .2 piece step down join with a riveted joiner plate ,and chain pressings. These are going onto 2 prewar and a post war machines . Front guards are almost done as well

10.01.2022 We had a piston sieze in a 1910 Triumph and getting a piston made has been hard with all the shut downs so Louis drew us a pattern in 3D and printed it on his printer . A bit of finishing work so the sand core will work and hopefully on Sunday we will cast new one .

09.01.2022 Vincent C series . The rear valances are welded together so when the safety edge and the seam joint are formed the tail and the nose sections are an exact match . The welds are cut out when the seaming is finished . The rear blades are now almost at radius .

09.01.2022 Triumoh 1937 - 38 front guards with centre mount bracket and a slight duck bill o the nose

09.01.2022 Vincent C series front guards . All 10 now with valances. Next step is to get the big heavey press tool out and make the fork pressings. This is where it can all go wrong.

07.01.2022 Wanderer 1922 front guard . Valanced each side with stiffeners to suport the skirt that the customer will add along with the centre mounting bracket . There is a pressing for the forks and also one on the top to give clearance for the main fork casting .

06.01.2022 AJS bigport alloy muffler This one suits 1923 /24 Bigport machines. This is the core mould filled with sand to make the casting hollow with the pattern beside it
