03.01.2022 Seeking Perth/Peel/South West (Western Australia) based contract commercial sewists (factory/workshop based) to assist with cutting and manufacturing baby, children's and athletic wear as well as nursery bedding, accessories and decor. I need someone/a team who is fantastic at the following areas of production: * Accurate contract based written quotations for each job lot *Pattern drafting/adaptation, ... * Fabric/notions estimation, * Cutting different fabric types (minimising fabric waste) and *Piecework sewing to construct garments etc in short run quantities. * You MUST be COMPLIANT with all government safety requirements in manufacturing garments ect and offer quick turn around times (unless contractually agreed otherwise). * You must have an ABN and have a willingness to provide services via contract. * You must be willing to supply physical samples of craftmanship/completed work. Previous experience manufacturing similar items advantageous. Customer references advantageous. Those based in the Peel/Mandurah area are highly regarded. I would prefer to meet with applicants face to face to find the right fit for out team. (I am deaf and lipread so phone conversations are not always productive/efficient.) Thankyou.
