20.01.2022 Happy Friday guys, This is a bit of a personal promotion as I am a HUGE fan of this band, Grandaddy. I saw them play the Corner a long time ago and always excited by their releases! Grandaddy's The Sophtware Slump ..... on a wooden piano, released today is a reworking of the band's classic second album which was originally released in 2000. Grand grandaddy Jason Lyttle spent a while sourcing the right instruments in the right studios to make the right sound and then the pande...mic came and forced him to change his plans. He recorded the album at home, and rather than being annoyed by the lawnmowers, traffic and noisy birds he made them part of the record. I personally can not wait to have a listen to what they have produced!
