22.01.2022 Ahhh-mazing! Fairies are real!!! Growing up I always read and hear of fireflies and never thought I get to see them, until now. Wow! Their bright light is as bright as lcds and it’s just mesmerising. This video was captured along the laneway near the entry driveway gate on dusk. In darkness you discover and appreciate beauty.... #violethillhomesteadfairies #fireflies #midnorthcoast #seeaustralia

19.01.2022 We have just started exploring 4WD Beach driving getting the most of our annual pass. We’ve just scored nine miles of beach just for ourselves. This is a good drive for beginners with mostly firm sand. #ninemilebeach #tuncurry... #midnorthcoastnsw #SeeAustralia #violethillhomestead #4WDBeach #beachdriving See more

16.01.2022 Always in awe spotting whales, the gentle giants in the ocean, during their migration from May to November. Seal Rocks offers the best vantage view in the MidCoast area at the Sugarloaf lighthouse. The area also offers great surf and 4WD tracks. #whaleofatime #whalewatching #Sealrocks... #MidNorthCoast #VioletHillHomestead See more

16.01.2022 August 2 is National Tree Day Did you know that NSW tallest tree - The Grandis is located at the serene Myall Lakes National Park. It stands 76m high, with a circumference of 8.9m (11.5m from ground) and is 400 years old. In a span of a year, there were bushfires in the Mid North Coast, followed by floods then pandemic flu. I wonder what other stories would The Grandis have witnessed as it stood tall for 400 years.... The Grandis is a short 10 minute drive from the Homestead. #amazingnature #midnorthcoastnsw #thegrandis #myalllakesnationalpark #seeaustralia #violethillhomestead #NationalTreeDay #nswtallesttree
