18.01.2022 The original Viper 4 was in production from 2000 to 2009. The overall design and shape was based on the Viper Cruiser. Anyone that has seen the two models would see the similarities. Several engine configuration's were used, however the most popular was the Rotax 582UL/99. After 2009, we had moved into the Viper 5 series, however a small number series 2 Viper 4 Hovercraft, slightly longer were made. eg. Viper 4.2 and 4.2S. These units incorporated all the new hull features of the V5 Series

11.01.2022 The Viper 5X hovercraft. 2009 to late 2017. The Viper 5X was the recreational version of the 5X and 5RS rescue, without all the vacuum bagged composite Kevlar/carbon components and usual rescue attachments. It was powered by a 900+cc inline two-stroke, which manufacturers claimed 100hp @ 6,000 rpm. It was hardly under powered, and found the carburetor version to provide more honest and reliable power.... The 5X was proven to handle over loaded situations on many occasions, and still hoping up on plane without any delay. Noise was low and was able maintain a 45-60km cruise @ max cap at less than 4,500rpm, in quite gusty conditions.

06.01.2022 The Viper 5.2 Hovercraft. A rare edition. Only 5 will be built before the Rotax 582 will be moved to a smaller model due out next year. 4 built. Only one left for the public, and then the moulds will be altered permanently to suit the Viper 5XS. The 5.2 measures 4.6m x 2.2m, weighs only 270kg and has 95kg of thrust. This is acheived by extensive use of high end composites, light weight components and a very efficient thrust module. The current and future Viper Cruiser kits u...tilise all the technology associated with this model. Years of research and development have gone into achieving a reliable and quiet marriage of components.
