Given I used small brushes to complete this #mural it is fair to say I know every square inch of this facade. Completed for the Stewart family who are building this in memory of Mrs Stewart (Aunty Joan), to house her collection of 600 porcelain dolls. This will be a mind-blowing event space too once it is opened. Very grateful for this opportunity thanks to Helen (who is project managing on behalf of her family), for having faith in me to bringing her vision to life. 21.01.2022 Work gets underway on a 25-metre Mural at Melbourne Assessment Prison (MAP) This year, Melbourne Assessment Prison (MAP) approached The Torch to facilitate a mural project to be painted on the west wall of the new Protection Unit exercise yard. The wall measures 25 metres in length, and 4.2 metres in height. The Torch brought professional mural mentor Tom Civil on board for the project, and he was joined by four highly talented post-release artists: Gunditjmara Keerraaywoorro...ng man Chris Austin, Yorta Yorta man Kelvin Rogers, Wiradjuri man Graham Gilbert who is also Assistant Coordinator, and Gunditjmara man Ricky Abrahams who wasn’t able to attend the painting but was invaluable in the groundwork.
