24.01.2022 Hi everyone, I haven’t been posting on this page as much as these past few weeks have been pretty hectic but I’m here now, which is super exciting! Some major things that have happened to me in the past fortnight is that I’ve started a creative development with three of my treasured friends which we are hoping to put on towards the end of the year, if CO-VID restrictions don’t worsen. So, please keep your fingers crossed for us as I’m so excited to be creating collaboratively again and I selfishly don’t want that experience to be cut short . I also have grown even more super appreciative of my jobs which I didn’t think was possible. One of my students even wore her Mad Hatter book week costume to class, as she knows how much I love Alice in Wonderland. So obviously, we had to take a silly photo...

23.01.2022 Today was my first day back teaching the performing arts workshops @artstheatre since our closure in term one, due to CO-VID. It was a struggle not to hug my beautiful students as my heart had missed seeing all of their 50+ beautiful faces every week. Today truly felt like I had returned home and, as always, I’m so so grateful to be able work in the field that I love Photo from @artstheatre Facebook page

23.01.2022 Words can’t express how excited I am to be back performing live at the Story Chunder in two week’s time at BackDock Arts. Now, I just need to find a story to tell....

22.01.2022 Hello everyone, These past few months I’ve started doing my own private drama/devising lessons over Zoom for children aged 8-16. In these hour long lessons weekly sessions , we do the following: Characterisation/Techniques on how to stay in character Annotating and learning monologues Devising/ Script-writing Techniques... Improvisation/Improvising in Character Theatre and acting theory ... which all culminates in a virtual ‘showing’ for parents and friends. Why am I writing this on Facebook? I’ve managed to re-shuffle my timetable so that I can take on a few more students. So if you, or anyone you know, would be interested please let me know and share away. Much love See more

21.01.2022 I’m so exciting to be performing alongside these wonderful new faces on Monday evening

19.01.2022 Thank you Matt Young and @thestorychunder for having me on Monday night to share my story @backdockarts. Words can’t express how incredible it felt to be back on stage .

14.01.2022 Yesterday was the last workshop of our Room to Play classes for term three and my heart is very full. I’m looking forward to teaching some of my ducklings during these school holidays

11.01.2022 On Friday night I shared some of the short stories I’d written over this past year at an open mic night at BackDock Arts. What I thought was going to be a daunting experience, turned out to be an exhilarating experience. My stories even made a few people cry in the front row

11.01.2022 We are halfway through term and I’m so proud of my kiddos for learning all of their lines for our end of year production, written by yours truly. Can’t wait to see it all come together with singing and dance as well!

10.01.2022 I was very very fortunate to see this remarkable show this weekend and I can’t tell you how magical and energising it was to be back in a theatre watching a stage show, even if we were all quite far apart. The script, acting and direction for this show was sensational and if it wasn’t a conflict of interest, then I would be writing up a five star review. I loved it so much that I’m going to see it again next week. Hopefully I’ll see you there

09.01.2022 This week I had my first experience with fan mail which was a pretty surreal feeling...

08.01.2022 The trailer is out for ‘Bloody Hell’. I had so much fun on set for this movie. And the food was AMAZING. Thank you to Jaiden Kerp and Bee Tran for this incredible opportunity

08.01.2022 This past week I’ve been co-teaching Room to Play Independent Theatre’s School Holiday Workshop alongside the wonderful Matthew French. I’m having the loveliest and most rewarding time and I’m so so grateful for Heidi Manche for continually giving me so many wonderful opportunities. I’m a very lucky girl

08.01.2022 Two years ago today, my original work ‘Hungry Like A Wolf’, an alternative and absurdist take on the story of The Little Red Riding Hood opened at the Brisbane Powerhouse, which I performed in as Red, with my good friend Hamish Chappell as the wolf. I’m so fortunate for this experience and hopefully we can tell this story again at some point in the future

08.01.2022 Three years ago I played the Sheriff’s Wife in a Robin Hood pantomime at Brisbane Arts Theatre, in which my amazing friend Lachlan Driscoll (who I’m currently collaborating with on a new work), played Robin Hood. It was the last children’s theatre production I performed in as an actor and it was during the season for that production that jumped into my first role as director. And I haven’t looked back ever since

07.01.2022 Words cannot express how amazing it feels to be rehearsing a play again

04.01.2022 On Saturday, my sixty odd performing arts workshop students had their term three showcases in which they performed 3-5 minute plays that they created themselves this past term, as well as the songs and dances they’d learnt and I couldn’t be prouder of them. Below is a photo of the students in our first Saturday class, just before the showcase started. Aren’t they just gorgeous? How lucky am I

01.01.2022 I had the absolute pleasure of being interviewed by the lovely Courtney Farrar for her article about how CO-VID has impacted the delivery of arts education. I’d love you all to have a read
