25.01.2022 Im excited to share that my painting Drowning in the Blues has been selected as a finalist in this years Fishers Ghost Art Prize. The exhibition runs from 28/10/17 to 14/12/17, with the official opening night and award announcements on Friday 3rd November at the Campbelltown Arts Centre. ABOUT THE PAINTING Drowning in the Blues brings awareness to the feelings associated with Anxiety, with the buildings representing different people, showing how it affects all types of ...people regardless of race, status, etc. The random changes in tone, shade and texture of the paint symbolises the ups and downs associated with it and how it can change very quickly and all of a sudden, how it can feel like youre rocking one minute and drowning the next, nearly going under, then feeling ok for a while again. It seems like at one time or another we are all Drowning in the Blues. Measures - H 80cm L 180cm (Sorry about the terrible photo, I need to find a new photographer so I had to take this one). 24.01.2022 What a fun morning I spent with Year 6 today. They were all keen to paint their own tile Self Portraits or something that represented them. The tiles will all be put together and left to hang in the school as a memory of this Year 6, 2014. The class were eager artists and the results were really fantastic, they should all be very proud of themselves! I will post photos of the finished painting when it is done, so stay tuned.

13.01.2022 I had a great morning with the academically gifted class that had kids from schools all over the highlands, they were a wonderful group of kids with a fantastic teacher. We talked about what might inspire an artist to create their works and they had lots of creative ideas. After a visit to the gallery to see my exhibition they went back to school to create their own artworks, I hope they were inspired and I cant wait to see what they have created.
