24.01.2022 This master bedroom was very cool and clinical with the white melamine ikea furniture, dark grey carpet and blue walls. I purchased Ikea side tables from facebook $20 each and warmed up the cool grey carpet with 2 small rugs from @albiaustralia. Lamps also from @albiaustralia. Styled the bed with mustard cushions @adairs and linen doona @westelmaus . We relocated the white furniture to the home office. This client had so many lovely artifacts hidden in cupboards. We used most of them. The clients texted me to say they have just moved into their new home. Hope all their lovely things are now out on display.

24.01.2022 As restrictions ease and the threat of bank moritoriams lift, many people are feeling unsure of what the future holds. This feeling of uncertainty can be paralysing. I have had such positive feedback from the people who have hired me for this initial consult. By advising them of what is required to present their home for sale, can answer lots of questions.

20.01.2022 Love this delicate ceramic plate. My client's daughter had given it to her. It became the inspiration for this empty bedroom. I robbed a few jewels from the daughters room and added the timber bowl and pink perfume from my props.

20.01.2022 Still life from master bedroom. Used similar props to the downstairs grey spare bedroom but warmed it up. Mustard tones are so versatile. Ceramics from @inartisan and faux orchids from @florabelle.living.

20.01.2022 Love using baskets as wall art. This bedroom had a difficult space where the wardrobe met a small chest of drawers. We needed to give it a purpose. My client's daughter is very artistic and let me raid her collections. To finish off I used monstera faux stems from @freedom_australia and this borneo backpack I bought at trade fairs a few years ago.

20.01.2022 Every year our wisteria gets more established. This year the vine has travelled up the lilly pilly trees to make a canopy over our heads. We had a really windy day on the weekend and quite a few flower bunches fell. So I collected some and made a floating arrangement using a beautiful @official_rosenthal glass bowl inherited from @leonpenrose mum.

15.01.2022 Driving back home we stopped at Caves Beach Hotel. The hotel and accommodation was rebuilt a few years ago and now boasts very nice decor. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and both commented the bathrooms had the nicest chevron tiles !

15.01.2022 New job new dog x This gorgeous gentle soul is called Shep. She is a german shepherd but is recovering from a nasty tick. So she is a bit sheepish from losing her luxurious coat. Even her owner didn't recognise her when she picked her up from the vet. So looking forward to preparing this home for sale. Huge potential ready to be uncovered.

13.01.2022 Spare room in this home. I had to work with these existing tallboys as bedsides and an ikea sofa bed. So I dressed the bed in soft greys to compliment the drawer fronts. Bedding from Adairs I also put a bed skirt on the base to hide the metal legs and make it more bedlike. Then bought a $30 canvas from Spotlight They often have little gems.

12.01.2022 I have finally finished my office clean up. Took a while to go through and reduce 30 years of office files. Couldn't throw away all the copies of our Sirocco ca...talogues we did before online began. 11.01.2022 Have been doing a major cleanup in my home office. And came across this gem. I helped them a few years back. I wonder how these then newly weds are doing now. Such a beautiful young people and we learnt so much from each other.

11.01.2022 Continuation of the empty bedroom. This batik canvas had nowhere to go so we decided to use it on a side wall as it was so big. Bed dressed in @florabelle.living cream cushion with tassle and @adairs smokey pink linen. Macrame wallhanging @spotlightstores.

11.01.2022 Weekend meetings are part of my business, but they don't cause me grief when you have such delightful clients. This 2 storey dual occupancy home has original pine floors, and so many cool vintage pieces. Before we paint out both interiors I am going to sell off a few treasures. These dressers are to go. They will look fabulous painted white. Message me if you are interested as I will be selling them on Facebook sale sites next week. They are both 180 cm tall x 90 cm wide x 40 cm deep.

08.01.2022 Finished renewing our timber outdoor setting. Washed them then did a light sand and applied a generous amount of @deksolje. @leonpenrose got it from his work @classicboatsupplies. Its the most beautiful specially formulated deck oil for boats. It deeply nourishes the timber and gives it water repellance.

07.01.2022 Still life with Grey stoneware, Baby's breath and Woven balls. All styling has to have something that binds it together. In this case I used a setting of @inartisan ceramics. They are beautiful, clean lined and easy to style. Baby's breath flowers are also a favourite of mine. They last for weeks, if you wash the stems and change the water weekly then let them dry once the stems start to wither, they will last as dried flowers for years. I buy my flowers from @hillsflowermarket. Can't fault them.

04.01.2022 Curtain hanging in 42 degrees ! After 3 hours I hopped into my car and saw my beetroot red face. No wonder my very caring client kept asking if I wanted more water.

04.01.2022 Spent the afternoon in a beautiful hacienda style family home of a dear ex parent from Kamaroi School days https://www.facebook.com/barbarabinghamingitup Barb is a true creative and her home reflects her relaxed Hawaiian heritage. It has so many beautiful features and will be a delightful challenge to rejuvenate it without losing its Bohemian spirit. The plan is a little bit at a time to not interfere too much in their busy lives.
